Poncin is situated between Lyon and Geneva . It is in the middle of a plain next to the Ain River. The River Veyron digs into the Jura limestone to make a lovely scenery.
There are seven villages around Poncin . All these villages are well-known for their wine growing . There is a castle and a lot of restaurants as well as a shop in the village. There are two schools, a football pitch, a park and camping site.
